Welcome to Rainbow’s End Yurts, a unique Glamping Experience at Dornoch Caravan and Camping Park!
Our three handcrafted, Mongolian Style Yurts take Glamping to a whole new level! Each situated on their own private deck with Gas BBQ and Outdoor dining. Inside, you’ll find a double bed and futons, too, tailored to meet the sleeping arrangements of your party. You’ll also find kitchen facilities such as small oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge and all dining equipment. There’s also soft furnishings to relax and plenty of storage for your belongings. Toilet and Shower facilities are just a 2-minute walk away in our modern Toilet Blocks. These are code locked, cleaned 5 times a day and shared only with other Caravan Park users.

Rowan – When guests set foot in Rowan, they will immediately feel as though they’ve been transported all the way to Japan. With a calming, minimalist vibe, Rowan takes inspiration from the landscapes, stories and culture that makes Japan so special. If you want to experience a slice of Japan right here in Scotland, Rowan is the Yurt for you!
Poppy – When designing the interior of Poppy, our aim was simple – to make our guests feel as though they’ve entered a fairytale! Poppy draws its inspiration from myths, legends and epic fantasy stories. Rich tapestries fill the walls, unique hidden treasures hide in every corner – Poppy is a place where dreams come to life!
Daisy – Our only Pet friendly Yurt, Daisy embraces a retro, stylish, art deco theme. Comfortable furnishings meet sophisticated décor, vintage appliances meet modern convenience. Daisy truly feels like stepping back into an alternate past with splashes of the very best of the 20th Century scattered all around!
Rainbow’s End Yurts are in an ideal location on the edge of Dornoch Caravan and Camping Park.
Guests enjoy access to all Caravan Park facilities as standard (games room, playpark, laundry, shop). From your Yurt, the best of Dornoch is only a short walk away! Step out your door and turn right, and in only 5 to 7 minutes walk you’ll find yourself on the golden sands of Dornoch Beach. Turn left and walk 10 to 15 minutes and you’ll be in the heart of the historic town of Dornoch where cafes, shops and stunning architecture meet you at every turn. And don’t forget, the beautiful Northern Highlands are all around, too! Fancy a historic castle? 20 mins drive. How about a hike up a hill? 15 mins drive! Mythical forest walks? 5 mins drive. Lochs and Waterfalls? 15 mins away! A distillery tour? 15 mins down the road! Towering sea cliffs? Less than an hour away! Rugged mountains? Head west for around an hour! Yes, at Rainbow’s End Yurts, the very best of the Highlands is on your doorstep!

Prices - £80 per Yurt per Night Low Season, £100 per Yurt per Night High Season. Weekly Discounts available.
Rowan, Poppy or Daisy – Any of our Yurts can accommodate the following combinations of people.
Solo - 1 adult
Couple - 2 adults
Family - up to 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant
Group - up to 3 adults
(Please note our Yurts cannot accommodate any more than three adults per booking, Children are aged up to 15, older teenagers are classed as adults when booking, Pets are only welcome in Daisy, other Yurts are strictly Pet Free)
Important! – Rainbow’s End Yurts is NOT accepting bookings for anyone attending Dornoch Music & Beer Festival (Friday 17th July 2026 & Saturday 18th July 2026).
This is due to our aim to keep our Yurts a quiet, peaceful and family friendly place for all. If you book a Yurt with the intention of using it as accommodation for attending the Beer Festival, your booking will be cancelled.
